Student Residences


 

 

 

              In order to accompany youth in the studies, the Emmanuel Community welcomes them in several residences. 


A place of family welcome for students 
The student residences are run by members of the Emmanuel Community, who animate and adminster them. Regular evenings of meetings and sharing are organized. The residences provide breakfast and make available to the students a telephone, kitchen, washing facilities, drycleaning and a deep freeze...


A good place to work and for personal formation
The residences have a garden. They also provide comfortable and calm rooms, in an studious and Christian ambience. It is suggested that students participate in the life of prayer in the place, weekly Mass, and also attend monthly lectures (on work methodology, questions about Man, formation in Christian life...). In addition, weekends and pilgrimages are organized by the Emmanuel Community.

A charter for life in the student residences
Each person living in the residences is committed to the service of the common good, notably through (restrained and fraternal) participation and through the upkeep of the house. Residents are also asked to be present at the monthly evening meetings with all the members of the residence. 

Conditions of entry:
• You must be a student;
• You must be engaged for at least one university year, from September or October to June (a renewable commitment);
• You must accept the charter of the residence;
• A good relation is foreseen with the coordinators of the residence.
